Our client has been in the algae production business for more than 16 years and merged with a similar organization in 2020, increasing its clout. The young and dynamic team develops innovative and patented products for both small-scale and industrial algae production.
Its own site is also opened up to companies, researchers and universities. Here they can collect cultivation data, conduct business-case validations, conduct product market development and conduct tests with new algae species.
Functieomschrijving
You support the R&D department by performing tests, which you carry out accurately according to standard operational procedures. Your own input is appreciated; when you identify points of improvement, you can discuss them and, after approval, implement them. Naturally, you record the data that emerges from the tests. Together with the research team, you discuss progress and planning. You maintain the microalgae cultures, manage the laboratory supplies, coordinate orders and ensure that the equipment is properly maintained.
Wat wij zoeken
- HBO/BSc and 1-3 years of relevant experience in biotechnology, process engineering, food technology or related field
- Excellent command of the English language both oral and written
- Experience in a similar position
- Accurately
- Structured and neat working
- Good communication skills
- Flexible - able to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing environment
Wat wij bieden
- Gross salary between € 2.000,-- and € 3.000,--, according to demonstrated experience
