The company built its strong name in the Kenyan flower industry mainly due to high quality products, modern facilities and commitment and dedication of our professional team. They are currently growing roses on 70 ha. at two farms, but the company is expending fast to 100 ha. with new production of summer flowers.
Job description
In this position, you are the person ultimately responsible for the rose, summer flower and vegetable nursery. Every year you prepare the budget for your department and you ensure daily sufficient staffing to perform all work properly and on time. If necessary, you hire additional staff. You take care of establishing policies and procedures and communicate them to your employees. By timely anticipating pests and diseases, you ensure healthy crops. With your positive attitude, you know how to motivate everyone. Also the management of the machinery falls under your responsibility; you ensure timely maintenance and the proper use of it. You report to the Managing Director.
